The most surprising game was a loss of Banco di Srd (2-1) in Sassari on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Enel Brindisi (2-1) 92-78. The game was mostly controlled by Enel Brindisi. Banco di Srd managed to win third quarter 35-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Enel Brindisi dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Banco di Srd's 34. They outrebounded Banco di Srd 42-20 including a 28-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Cameroonian power forward Kenny Kadji (211-88, college: Miami, FL) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds. American-Jamaican swingman Durand Scott (196-90, college: Miami, FL) helped adding 21 points and 10 rebounds. Four Enel Brindisi players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American-Polish guard David Logan (185-82, college: Indianapolis) with 21 points and 7 assists and American-Georgian point guard Marquez Haynes (191-86, college: Texas Arlington) scored 24 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Enel Brindisi is looking forward to face Dolomiti En. TR in Trento in the next round. Banco di Srd will play on the road against Cimberio Varese and is hoping to win this game.
