Very expected game when 11th ranked Kanazawa Samuraiz (1-5) lost to sixth ranked Hamamatsu Phoenix (4-2) in Mikawa 63-71 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Kanazawa Samuraiz won third quarter 20-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hamamatsu Phoenix made 24-of-28 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game, while Kanazawa Samuraiz only scored three points from the stripe. Hamamatsu Phoenix had a 30-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. American players dominated also this game.
