Regular Season Round 3: Zaglebie - Pogon RS 51-81
Date: October 18, 2015
We should not miss a road victory of Pogon RS (2-1) who rolled over Zaglebie (1-2) by 30 points 81-51. Pogon RS dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Zaglebie's 24. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Zaglebie's players. The best player for the winners was point guard Pawel Mol (180-87) who scored 5 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. Center Tomasz Stankala (202-91) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Grzegorz Jankowski (183-88) who recorded 17 points and 5 rebounds and Piotr Osiakowski (197-92) added 10 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Pogon RS's next round opponent will be MCKiS Jaworz. (#5) in Jaworzno. Zaglebie will play at home against Cieszyn and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the 1Liga just one year after relegation.
