Regular Season Round 5: Norrkoping - Sallen 67-78

Date: October 18, 2015
The biggest surprise of round 5 was guest Sallen's (3-2) road victory over 4th placed Norrkoping Dolphins (2-3) 78-67 on Sunday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Sallen. Norrkoping Dolphins managed to win fourth quarter 26-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international Kadidja Andersson (183-80, college: Minnesota) who scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international forward Malin Edlund (183-88) chipped in 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American point guard Tavelyn James (170-90, college: E.Michigan) produced 29 points (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and Finnish center Sofia Pelander (188-92) added 11 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sallen moved-up to fourth place. Norrkoping Dolphins lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with Visby. Sallen are looking forward to face Alvik Basket (#7) in Stockholm in the next round. Norrkoping Dolphins will play on the road against Mark Basket in Kinna and are hoping to win this game.
