Regular Season Round 4: Itago Gdynia - Koscian 49-54

Quite upsetting was Itago Gdynia's home defeat in a game versus Koscian 54-49. Guard Pawel Ciazkowski (190-86) fired 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Waldemar Kabat (196-86) chipped in 9 points and 16 rebounds. Guard Krzysztof Kozakiewicz (187-80) produced 9 points and 7 rebounds and forward Marcin Olik (193-81) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Koscian (3-1) moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with Asseco II and Kotwica. Newly promoted Itago Gdynia dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Koscian will meet at home TKM Wloclawek (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Itago Gdynia will play against SMS PZKosz (#7) in Wladyslawowo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
