We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Ishikawa where eleventh ranked Kanazawa Samuraiz (2-5) smashed 10th ranked Oita Heat Devils (1-5) 85-62 on Saturday. The game without a history. Kanazawa Samuraiz led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best for the losing side was forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds and forward Patrick Simon (203-92, college: Seattle Pacific) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Kanazawa Samuraiz moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Iwate Big Bulls. Oita Heat Devils lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with five games lost. Kanazawa Samuraiz will face again Oita Heat Devils (#11) at home in the next round.
