Regular Season Round 5: Sagunto - UCAM Murcia II 55-70

Everything could happen in Gilet at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked UCAM Murcia II and bottom-ranked Sagunto had identical 0-2 record. But Sagunto was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Murcia 70-55 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by UCAM Murcia II. Sagunto was better in second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Lleon Tillman (198, college: W.Alabama) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and power forward Juan Oliva (203-97) chipped in 13 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Devin Kastrup (203-92, college: Western St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Dani Adriasola (193-88) scored 6 points and 6 rebounds. Sagunto's coach rotated eleven players and allowed the starting five to rest. UCAM Murcia II (1-2) left bottom position moving up to sixth place in Group E, which they share with Paterna. It was Sagunto's third loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with three games lost. UCAM Murcia II will face Paterna (#6) at home in the next round. Sagunto will play against Cartagena and hopes to get finally their first victory.
