Regular Season Round 4: Zabok - Skrljevo 72-63

KK Zabok's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after two consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat KK Skrljevo (0-4) 72-63. The hosts were already 14 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 22-17 KK Skrljevo's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 72-63 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Domagoj Vukovic (208-93) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Panamanian Levour Warren (196-81, college: S.Carolina) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side point guard Roko Rogic (185-92) responded with 13 points and 5 steals and guard Josip Ceranja (203-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KK Zabok (1-2) left bottom position moving up to eighth place. It was KK Skrljevo's fourth loss in a row. Newly promoted KK Skrljevo still closes the standings with four games lost. KK Zabok will play against higher ranked Jolly (#7) in Sibenik in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. KK Skrljevo will play at home against Vrijednosnice OS (#10) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
