There was a minor upset when 4th placed Gravelines-Dunkerque (3-2) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Le Mans (3-2) 73-69 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 9 points after three quarters before their 23-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Beninese power forward Mouphtaou Yarou (204-90, college: Villanova) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. American point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) chipped in 18 points. The former international point guard Andrew Albicy (178-90) produced 11 points and 6 assists and international swingman Pape Sy (201-88) added 11 points respectively for the guests. Four Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. Gravelines-Dunkerque's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Le Mans moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Gravelines-Dunkerque.
