Regular Season Round 4: AZS UMK Torun - AZS PGd 75-64

Very predictable result when top-ranked AZS UMK Torun (4-0) defeated at home 6th ranked AZS PGd (2-2) 75-64 on Saturday. AZS UMK Torun looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Radoslaw Plebanek (190-85) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Zbigniew Malinowski (188-84) who added 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side forward Aleksander Lebiedzinski (195-93) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and Lukasz Jaskiewicz (202-92) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. AZS UMK Torun have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group A with 4-0 record. Loser AZS PGd dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. AZS UMK Torun will face league's second-placed Kotwica in Kolobrzeg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. AZS PGd will play at home against Domino Inowr. and hope to win that game.
