The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Polonia Leszno as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group D. Polonia Leszno smashed bottom-ranked Olesnica at home 74-49. They outrebounded Olesnica 47-29 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Nikodem Sirijatowicz (188-94) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and center Grzegorz Paszek (203-93) who added 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side center Wojciech Suprun (203-82) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Belarusian point guard Luka Malakhau (185-94) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Polonia Leszno have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Newly promoted Olesnica still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Gniezno. Olesnica will play next round against strong Gornik trying to get back on the winning streak. Polonia Leszno will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked WKK Wroclaw at home.
