Regular Season Round 4: Tarbes - Charnay 62-56

Date: October 24, 2015
No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Tarbes (3-1) beat at home 7th ranked Charnay (1-3) 62-56. It looked good early as Charnay took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Tarbes had a 19-15 second period charge getting the lead and Charnay was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 56-62. Guard Sylvie Gruszczynski (173-86, agency: Comsport) fired 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. American guard D'lesha Lloyd (179-86, college: Clemson, agency: Regeneracom Sports) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Candace Williams (184-88, college: New Hampshire) produced 13 points and 9 rebounds and forward Laure Belleville (175-87) added 14 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Charnay's coach Etienne Faye rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tarbes have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Charnay at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Tarbes' next round opponent will be bottom-ranked CFBB (#12) in Paris and are hoping to win another game. Charnay will play at home against Limoges (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
