There was no surprise in Seu D'urgell where 13th ranked Gran Canaria (1-5) was outplayed by ninth ranked Cadi La Seu (3-3) 94-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Cadi La Seu. Gran Canaria was better in fourth quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cadi La Seu made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. International center Laura Gil (190-92, agency: Regeneracom Sports) had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Tamara Abalde (190-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 15 points during the contest.
