Regular Season Round 7: Boras II - Huddinge 94-68

Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Huddinge (0-7) was rolled over on the road by eighth ranked Boras II (2-3) 94-68 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-68. Boras II forced 24 Huddinge turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Huddinge's players. It was a great evening for point guard Emil Lundstedt (175-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Point guard Robin Alm (184-93) helped adding 18 points and 4 assists. Boras II's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Alan Bedirhanoglu (-96) responded with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Adam Fontaine (-95) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Boras II moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Alvik Basket and Trelleborg. Huddinge lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Boras II will face Brahe Basket (#12) in Huskvarna in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
