There was no surprise when 12th ranked Bisceglie (1-4) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Ortona (3-2) 84-79 on Sunday. Center Arcangelo Leo (203-81) stepped up and scored 9 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and point guard Fabrizio Gialloreto (185-87) chipped in 19 points. Ortona's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Mauro Torresi Lelli (189-84) responded with 17 points and 5 assists and power forward Simone Zanotti (208-92) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Bisceglie players scored in double figures.
