Marghera used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Cagliari 70-52 on Sunday night. The game without a history. Marghera led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was guard Irene Mattiuzzo (165-90) who scored 15 points and 6 steals. Forward Carla Fabris (185-86) chipped in 4 points and 14 rebounds. Four Marghera players scored in double figures. Marghera's coach Francesco Iurlaro allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
