Regular Season Round 6: Visby - Akropol 63-61

Bottom-ranked Akropol is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to sixth ranked Visby Ladies (3-3) 63-61. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Akropol won fourth quarter 19-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American forward Samarie Walker (185-92, college: Kentucky, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. The other American import center Patricia Oaks (193-89, college: Colgate) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Maria Melkon (165-89) who recorded 16 points and 6 rebounds and forward Hanna Isaksson (191-90) added 19 points respectively. Visby Ladies moved-up to fifth place. Akropol at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Visby Ladies' next round opponent will be Norrkoping Dolphins (#7) on the road. Akropol will play against Fryshuset and hopes to get finally their first victory.
