Regular Season Round 7: Brahe Basket - RIG Mark 55-69

RIG Mark has finally registered their first victory this season after four consecutive loses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Huskvarna, where they defeated Brahe Basket (1-4) 69-55 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by RIG Mark. Brahe Basket was better in second period 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. RIG Mark forced 29 Brahe Basket turnovers. It was a great evening for naturalized American guard David Czerapowicz (186-99) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points. Guard Alexander Karras (187-98) helped adding 18 points. At the losing side forward Johannes Hidirsah (190-95) responded with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Vahe Gazigian scored 18 points. RIG Mark left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Brahe Basket. RIG Mark will face higher ranked Koping (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
