Another exciting game was between ASA Jerusalem and Elitzur Holon where ASA Jerusalem (1-0) beat Elitzur Holon (0-1) on the road 79-68. ASA Jerusalem forced 19 Elitzur Holon turnovers. Strangely Elitzur Holon outrebounded ASA Jerusalem 51-34 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Asia Taylor (185-91, college: Louisville, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import guard Daisy Feder (175-89, college: Cal-San Diego) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four ASA Jerusalem players scored in double figures. ASA Jerusalem's coach Boaz Tayeb allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Jasmine Hassell (188-91, college: Georgia, agency: Josep and Nicolas) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and Nigerian-American forward Atonye Nyingifa (180-90, college: UCLA, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 14 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Elitzur Holon. ASA Jerusalem will play against Hap.Petah Tikva (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Elitzur Holon will play against Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
