Another exciting game was between Romanian ICIM Arad and Czech SBS Ostrava where ICIM Arad (1-0) crushed SBS Ostrava (0-1) on the road with 35-point difference 97-62. The game without a history. ICIM Arad led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to SBS Ostrava's 44. They outrebounded SBS Ostrava 42-27 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American Monique Reid (185-90, college: Louisville) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds. Her fellow American import forward Shawnta Dyer (185-91, college: Louisville) contributed with 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four ICIM Arad players scored in double figures. American Vee Young (186-89, college: Martin Methodist) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and center Klara Vojtikova (190-94) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for SBS Ostrava. SBS Ostrava's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. ICIM Arad will play against Samorin at home in the next round. SBS Ostrava will play against Flying Foxes in Wien to get more than just one victory in their record.
