Regular Season Round 4: Triglav - Grosbasket 64-48

Very significant was Triglav's (#3, 3-1) victory against their biggest opponent Grosbasket (2-2) 64-48. It was a key game for the second position in A. The game was mostly controlled by Triglav. Grosbasket managed to win fourth quarter 10-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Triglav forced 20 Grosbasket turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Urska Zibert (174-92) who helped to win the game recording 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Marusa Senicar (183-97) who added 10 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Cecilia Okoye (185-91, college: McNeese St.) responded with 10 points and 5 rebounds and guard Sandra Bajrektarevic (168-90) scored 14 points and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Triglav (3-1) moved-up to second place in A. Grosbasket at the other side dropped to the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Medvescak. Triglav are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Badel (#6) in Skopje in the next round. Grosbasket will play at home against the league's leader Radivoj Korac and is hoping to win this game.
