Regular Season Round 6: Nassjo - Sundsvall 77-88

Date: October 30, 2015
The most important game in the last round took place in Nassjo between third ranked Nassjo (4-2) and sixth ranked Sundsvall Dragons (3-2) on Friday night. Nassjo was defeated by Sundsvall Dragons at home 88-77. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Nassjo. The game was mostly controlled by Sundsvall Dragons. Nassjo managed to win second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Charles Barton (193-92, college: Oregon St.) who scored 32 points and 7 assists. Icelandic power forward Hlynur Baeringsson (200-82) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Cole Darling (203-91, college: Wright St., agency: Dynamics Global Management) who recorded 22 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian guard Filip Djuran (188-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 18 points respectively. Nassjo's coach Raul Jimenez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sundsvall Dragons moved-up to fifth place. Nassjo at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Norrkoping. Sundsvall Dragons will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Nassjo will play again on the road against Sundsvall Dragons and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
