Regular Season Round 7: Mulhouse - Lourdes 91-85

Lourdes-Tarbes (6-1) recorded its first loss on the court of eighth ranked Mulhouse Basket on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Mulhouse Basket 91-85. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Lourdes-Tarbes. Lourdes-Tarbes was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 31-21 charge of Mulhouse Basket, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Guard Jeremy Bichard (187-90) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. American forward Durell Vinson (201-85, college: Wagner) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Sebastien Cape (184-93) produced 19 points and 6 assists and Jamaican forward Ricardo Alliman (201-87, college: Cedarville) added 15 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. Four Mulhouse Basket and five Lourdes-Tarbes players scored in double figures. Mulhouse Basket (4-3) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Lourdes-Tarbes at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Blois and Rueil. Mulhouse Basket is looking forward to face Quimper UJAP (#17) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Lourdes-Tarbes will play against UB Chartres (#12) and is hoping to win this game.
