Regular Season Round 2: St Chamond - Nantes 78-95

Date: October 30, 2015
Saint Chamond was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Nantes 95-78 on Friday night. The game was mostly controlled by Nantes. Saint Chamond was better in fourth quarter 25-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Nantes forced 24 Saint Chamond turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Nantes looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: I.D.S. Law) who scored 21 points and 9 rebounds. The other American import swingman Marcus Ginyard (196-87, college: N.Carolina, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 21 points. Five Nantes players scored in double figures. Nantes' coach Franck Collineau used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Dustin Salisbery (193-84, college: Temple) produced 21 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and power forward Jean-Stephane Rinna (198-83) added 14 points and 13 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Nantes will face Chorale de Roanne (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Saint Chamond will play against Denain Voltaire and hope to win that game.
