Bottom-ranked Brod na Savi is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to fourth ranked Kvarner (3-1) 88-50 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Kvarner led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Brod na Savi to just 6 points in first quarter. Kvarner dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Brod na Savi's 40. Kvarner forced 30 Brod na Savi turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by forward Lea Miletic (183-95) who scored that evening 31 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian guard Hristina Marjanovic (175-92) supported her with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. Four Kvarner players scored in double figures. Even 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists by guard Mihaela Lazic (168-0) did not help to save the game for Brod na Savi. point guard Martina Suster (168-90) added 6 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kvarner moved-up to third place, which they share with Zadar and Ragusa. Newly promoted Brod na Savi still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Croatia 2006 and Rockwool Pula. Kvarner will meet at home league's leader ZKK Medvescak in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Brod na Savi will play against the league's second-placed Tresnjevka (#2) in Zagreb and hopes to get finally their first victory.
