Regular Season Round 4: RGUOR - Victoria 67-65

The most exciting game of round 4 in the Premier League took place in Minsk. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Victoria (2-4) to eighth ranked RGUOR (1-3) 67-65 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Victoria. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 21-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. RGUOR forced 20 Victoria turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of center Hanna Brych (183-97) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Hanna Lapo (188-97) who added 8 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Mariya Vasilevko (183-99) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds and guard Yuliya Ruksha (164-98) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Victoria's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. RGUOR left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Sozh-GGU. Victoria at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. RGUOR will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Victoria will play at home against the league's second-placed Gorizont (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
