We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Clinicas Rincon (2-3) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Cambados (2-3) 73-69 on Saturday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was Austrian forward Maximilian Hopfgartner (206-92, college: John Brown) who scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Erik Quintela (184-91) chipped in 15 points. DR Congolese center Viny Okouo (215-97) produced 12 points and 9 rebounds and Congolese forward Romaric Belemene (205-97) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Clinicas Rincon players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Cambados moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Clinicas Rincon. Cambados will face Araberri (#8) in Vitoria-Gasteiz in the next round.
