Regular Season Round 4: Valencia - Rio Natura Mnb. 76-56

Date: October 31, 2015
Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Valencia Basket (4-0) outscored at home 9th ranked Blusens Monbus (2-2) 76-56 on Saturday. The game without a history. Valencia Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Blusens Monbus to just 5 points in first quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Justin Hamilton (213-90, college: LSU, agency: Priority Sports) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import forward Luke Sikma (203-89, college: Portland) who added 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Polish swingman Adam Waczynski (199-89) responded with 14 points and Belgian guard Tyler Haws (196-91, college: BYU) scored 13 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Valencia Basket have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with FC Barcelona and Laboral Kutxa. Loser Blusens Monbus dropped to the eighth place with two games lost. Valencia Basket will face league's second-placed Laboral Kutxa in Vitoria in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Blusens Monbus will play at home against Gipuzkoa (#16) and hope to win that game.
