Regular Season Round 6: TAKE Tolosa - Burgos 85-47

Date: October 31, 2015
Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked TAKE Tolosa and 8th ranked Burgos had identical 1-1 record. This time TAKE Tolosa used a home court advantage and outplayed the opponent from Burgos 85-47 on Saturday night. The game without a history. TAKE Tolosa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Burgos to an opponent 23.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 44.4 percent accuracy of the winners and made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. TAKE Tolosa forced 26 Burgos turnovers. It was a good game for guard Lander Lasa (193-88) who led his team to a victory with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Benat Azaldegi (196-94) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Croatian guard Marko Proleta (195-94) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds and American point guard Brandon Gould (180, college: Howard Payne) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Burgos. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. TAKE Tolosa (2-1) moved-up to fourth place in Group A-A, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Burgos keeps the eighth position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
