Regular Season Round 6: Paris-Levallois - Nanterre 61-58

There was a minor upset when higher ranked JSF Nanterre (2-4) was edged on the road by sixteenth ranked Paris-Levallois (2-4) 61-58 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 17-8 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American point guard Chris Jones (178-91, college: Louisville) who led his team to a victory with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import guard Jason Rich (191-86) contributed with 12 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. International center Mouhammadou Jaiteh (208-94) replied with 9 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Gerald Robinson (185-89, college: Georgia) added 13 points and 5 assists in the effort for JSF Nanterre. JSF Nanterre's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Paris-Levallois moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated JSF Nanterre. JSF Nanterre lost fourth consecutive game. Paris-Levallois will face higher ranked Monaco (#7) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
