Very predictable result when leader Polonia Leszno (5-0) outscored at home 8th ranked WKK Wroclaw (2-3) 96-64 on Saturday. Polonia Leszno forced 21 WKK Wroclaw turnovers. The best player for the winners was center Grzegorz Paszek (203-93) who scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Nikodem Sirijatowicz (188-94) chipped in 16 points. Swingman Dominik Rutkowski (196-98) produced 12 points and 9 rebounds and forward Szymon Kiwilsza (202-97) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four WKK Wroclaw players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Polonia Leszno. They maintain first place in Group D with 5-0 record. Loser WKK Wroclaw dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Polonia Leszno will face Otmuchow (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. WKK Wroclaw will play against Olesnica and hope to win that game.
