Regular Season Round 7: AZS AWF Mick. - Spojnia 65-85

Very expected game in Katowice where 15th ranked AZS AWF Mick. (1-6) was crushed by ninth ranked Spojnia (4-3) 85-65 on Saturday. It was a great evening for guard Lukasz Pacocha (185-82, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). Center Karol Pytys (202-85) helped adding 10 points and 7 rebounds. Five Spojnia players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Patryk Gospodarek (184-94) responded with 19 points and guard Karol Leszczynski (190-87) scored 13 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Spojnia. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. AZS AWF Mick. lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. Spojnia will face GKS Tychy (#7) at home in the next round. AZS AWF Mick. will play against Sokol Lancut (#3) and hope to win that game.
