Regular Season Round 4: Vicenza - Scrivia 79-40

Very predictable result when seventh ranked Vicenza (3-1) rolled over at home bottom-ranked Scrivia (0-4) 79-40 on Saturday. The game without a history. Vicenza led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Scrivia's 28. They outrebounded Scrivia 47-29 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Quite impressive performance for center Lorenza Prospero (182-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Jasmine Keys (190-97) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Annalisa Vitari (185-96) replied with 5 points and 7 rebounds and forward Clara D'Amico (180-82) added 9 points in the effort for Scrivia. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vicenza moved-up to fifth place in A2. Newly promoted Scrivia still closes the standings with four games lost. Vicenza will face Costa Masnaga (#8) on the road in the next round. Scrivia will play against Bolzano (#12) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
