Regular Season Round 3: Dinamo Tbilisi - Mgzavrebi 48-42

Another exciting game was again a derby between two teams from Tbilisi: Dinamo Tbilisi (#3) and Mgzavrebi (#8). Dinamo Tbilisi (2-1) won against visiting Mgzavrebi (1-2) 48-42. Dinamo Tbilisi forced 19 Mgzavrebi turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was a good game for international center Giorgi Sharabidze (210-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Center Ilia Londaridze (205-89) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Dinamo Tbilisi players scored in double figures. Kakhaber Jintcharadze (195-93) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard Kaheem Ransom (185, college: Sam Houston St.) added 8 points in the effort for Mgzavrebi. Dinamo Tbilisi's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena MIA.
