Leader JX-Eneos S. blasted bottom-ranked Hitachi Cougars (0-5) in Kashiwa 87-56 keeping the perfect record after 7 rounds. Hitachi Cougars is still unable to win any game. The game was mostly controlled by JX-Eneos S.. Hitachi Cougars was better in fourth quarter 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Hitachi Cougars to just 5 points in first quarter. JX-Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Hitachi Cougars' 26.
