Regular Season Round 6: Vigren - Rosalia 68-53

Everything could happen in Zamora at the game between two tied teams. Both top-ranked Vigren and bottom-ranked Rosalia had identical 0-0 record. This time Vigren used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Santiago de Camp. 68-53 on Sunday night. It was a key game for the top position in Group A-B. The game was mostly controlled by Vigren. Rosalia was better in fourth quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Anton Bouzan (188-95) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Alfonso Mallo (200-88) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Rosalia. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Vigren (1-0) keeps a position of Group A-B leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Rosalia still closes the standings with one game lost. Vigren will face Leon (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rosalia will play against Mieres BVM and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
