Regular Season Round 8: Toyota A. - Haneda Vickies 82-51

Bottom-ranked Haneda Vickies is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their eighth consecutive match to fifth ranked Toyota A. (6-2) 82-51. The game without a history. Toyota A. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Haneda Vickies to just 6 points in first quarter. Toyota A. forced 22 Haneda Vickies turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Mika Kurihara (178-89) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and center Mori Binge (180-88) who added 10 points during the contest. point guard Rina Sezaki (162-92) responded with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and guard LiQuan Luohe (165-91) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Toyota A. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Denso Iris. Haneda Vickies at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. They share the position with Niigata R.. Toyota A. will play against Toyota B SR (#6) in Aichi in the next round. Haneda Vickies will play on the road against Chanson V-M (#5) in Shizuoka and hope to get finally their first victory.
