An interesting game for Vivo/Franca (1-0) which hosted in Sao Paulo Macae (0-1). Vivo/Franca managed to get a 4-point victory 77-73. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-73. Vivo/Franca forced 24 Macae turnovers. The former international point guard Welington Dos Santos (185-81) nailed 22 points and 7 assists for the winning side and forward Thiago Mathias (206-89, college: N.Mexico JC) accounted for 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Macae will play against Paschoalotto/Bauru and hope to win that game.
