Important game to mention about took place in Loimaa. Fifth ranked Loimaan Korikonkarit (4-1) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 8th ranked BC Nokia (4-4) 78-76 on Wednesday evening. BC Nokia was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 18-10 third quarter run of Loimaan Korikonkarit. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by guard Martin Zeno (196-85, college: Texas Tech) who scored that evening 17 points and forward Justin Jackson (203-90, college: Cincinnati) supported him with 10 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Four Loimaan Korikonkarit players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 9 rebounds by guard Isaiah Wilkerson (190-90, college: NJIT) did not help to save the game for BC Nokia. Guard Daniel Bailey (196-90, college: Queens, NC) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. BC Nokia's coach Oliver Vidin rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Loimaan Korikonkarit have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. BC Nokia lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Helsinki Seagulls and Kauhajoki. Loimaan Korikonkarit will play against Lapuan Korikobrat (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BC Nokia will play against Helsinki Seagulls (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
