Very important is a road loss of second ranked Perth Wildcats (5-3) against seventh ranked Townsville Crocodiles (3-7) on Wednesday night. Visiting Perth Wildcats were defeated by Townsville Crocodiles in Wulguru 89-77. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 12 points. Townsville Crocodiles made 28-of-35 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game, while Perth Wildcats only scored twelve points from the stripe. Townsville Crocodiles forced 19 Perth Wildcats turnovers.
