Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Tehran: Chemidor (#6) and Ayandeh Sazan (#9). Ayandeh Sazan was crushed at home by 18 points 68-86 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Chemidor outrebounded Ayandeh Sazan 42-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Farid Aslani (183-88) who scored 19 points and 8 assists. International Oshin Sahakian (200-86) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international swingman Iman Zandi (188-81) who recorded 25 points and 5 rebounds and Montenegrin-Serbian center Slavko Vranes (230-83, agency: Beo Basket) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Five Chemidor and four Ayandeh Sazan players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
