The game with biggest result difference took place in Wien. Local Flying Foxes (1-0) outscored Czech SBS Ostrava (0-2) 70-51 on Thursday night. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Flying Foxes forced 26 SBS Ostrava turnovers. The best player for the winners was Bulgarian center Vera Perostiyska (195-82, college: FIU) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. American forward Chastity Reed (185-89, college: UALR) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 10 steals. Four Flying Foxes players scored in double figures. Flying Foxes' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American Vee Young (186-89, college: Martin Methodist) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and Michaela Potockova (176-96) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Flying Foxes is again looking forward to face SBS Ostrava on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SBS Ostrava will have a break next round.
