Regular Season Round 6: Forca Lleida - Prat 90-79

Date: November 6, 2015
Lleida Basquet's fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat CB Prat (1-5) 90-79 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Lleida Basquet. CB Prat was better in third quarter 29-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Lleida Basquet won last quarter 24-14. Lleida Basquet outrebounded CB Prat 39-20 including a 31-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for Puerto Rican-American forward Emmy Andujar (198-93, college: Manhattan) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American-Saint Lucian forward Khyle Marshall (198-92, college: Butler, agency: Duran International) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Lleida Basquet players scored in double figures. Guard Xavier Forcada (194-88) replied with 25 points and 4 assists (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) and guard Agustin Sans (195-95) added 18 points in the effort for CB Prat. CB Prat's coach let to play eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Lleida Basquet left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place, which they share with Prat and Coruna. It was CB Prat's third loss in a row. Lleida Basquet will face higher ranked Cocinas.com (#12) in Logrono in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. CB Prat will play at home against the league's leader Palencia Baloncesto (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
