Regular Season Round 5: Scrivia - Bolzano 52-46

Scrivia has registered their first victory this season after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Bolzano (0-5) 52-46 on Saturday. Bolzano trailed by 12 points at halftime and as many as 13 after three quarters before a 15-8 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 46-52 at the end of the game. Forward Clara D'Amico (180-82) stepped up and scored 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and guard Silvia Gabba (170-82) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Guard Elena Zambarda (180-87) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Safy Fall (176-89) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Scrivia (1-4) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place in A2. Bolzano at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with five games lost. Scrivia will face league's second-placed Milano at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bolzano will play against Costa Masnaga (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
