Regular Season Round 8: T71 - Residence 93-72

Date: November 7, 2015
Very predictable result when third ranked T71 (6-2) rolled over 9th ranked Residence (2-6) in Dudelange 93-72. The game without a history. T71 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Residence to just 6 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Residence 33-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. T71 players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Tom Schumacher (190-87, college: Cal.Baptist) who helped to win the game recording 30 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Willis Hall (198-90, college: Charleston, agency: Court Side) who added 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. American guard Everage Richardson (191-85, college: Co.Carolina) responded with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and American-British Oladapo Ayuba (198-86, college: UMKC, agency: HMS) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Five T71 and four Residence players scored in double figures. T71 have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Musel Pikes. Residence lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with six games lost. T71 will play against league's second-placed Musel Pikes in Stadrbredimus in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Residence will play on the road against Contern (#10) in Luxembourg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
