Quite upsetting was Leganes' (#4) home defeat in a game versus seventh ranked UCAM Jairis 70-66. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Leganes won fourth quarter 16-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was power forward Isabel Perez (188-90) who scored 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Victoria Robles (179-91) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Celia Menendez (186-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who recorded 8 points and 9 rebounds and Dominican guard Yohanna Morton (172-87, college: Robert Morris) added 9 points respectively. Leganes' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. UCAM Jairis (4-2) moved-up to third place in Group B, which they share with 4 other teams. Leganes at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with Plenilunio and Olimpico 64. UCAM Jairis will meet at home IF Air Europa (#6) in the next round.
