Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Gimbasket WRC (1-5) was edged by sixth ranked Sudety (4-2) in Wroclaw 60-57 on Saturday. Sudety made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game, while Gimbasket WRC only scored one point from the stripe. Sudety forced 19 Gimbasket WRC turnovers. It was a good game for swingman Aleksander Raczek (192-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Norman Zuber (190-94) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Rafal Malitka (205-91) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and guard Michal Kamberski (188-96) added 16 points in the effort for Gimbasket WRC. Four Gimbasket WRC players scored in double figures. Sudety have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place in Group D, which they share with Miedzychod and Rawia. Gimbasket WRC lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with five games lost. Sudety will face Rawia (#6) in Rawicz in the next round. Gimbasket WRC will play on the road against the league's leader Polonia Leszno (#1) and hope to win that game.
