Regular Season Round 6: Rosa III Radom - LKS Lodz 57-83

Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Rosa III Radom (2-4) was outscored at home by third ranked LKS Lodz (5-1) 83-57 on Saturday. LKS Lodz outrebounded Rosa III Radom 50-24 including a 19-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Patryk Wal (197-94) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Mateusz Gos (186-94) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds and guard Hubert Stopierzynski (183-97) added 8 points in the effort for Rosa III Radom. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. LKS Lodz maintains third position in Group B with 5-1 record behind leader Gimbasket PRZM. Rosa III Radom lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the sixth place with four games lost. LKS Lodz will face Polonia W-wa (#12) in Warszawa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rosa III Radom will play on the road against Start Lublin II (#10) and hope to win that game.
