Regular Season Round 6: Olesnica - WKK Wroclaw 64-77

There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Olesnica (0-6) lost at home to eighth ranked WKK Wroclaw (3-3) 77-64 on Saturday. It was a good game for forward Szymon Kiwilsza (202-97) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Jakub Kobel (184-98) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Swingman Grzegorz Kaczmarek (193-83) replied with 19 points and center Jakub Blaszczyk (206-93) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Olesnica. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. WKK Wroclaw moved-up to seventh place in Group D. Newly promoted Olesnica still closes the standings with six games lost. WKK Wroclaw will face Otmuchow (#8) on the road in the next round. Olesnica will play against Gniezno and hopes to get finally their first victory.
