Very important is a road loss of third ranked KFUM Uppsala (4-2) against ninth ranked KFUM Blackeberg (3-4) on Saturday night. Visiting KFUM Uppsala was defeated by KFUM Blackeberg in Vallingby 80-67. It looked good early as KFUM Uppsala took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then KFUM Blackeberg had a 20-13 second period charge getting the lead and KFUM Uppsala was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-80. KFUM Blackeberg forced 19 KFUM Uppsala turnovers. Forward Jon Jonsson (201-87, college: Oklah.Christian) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 4 steals. Naturalized Serbian forward Dragan Damjanovic (203-88) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Lukas Friberg (190-95) replied with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Tobias Skyttevall (196-95) added 17 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Uppsala. KFUM Uppsala's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KFUM Blackeberg moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Helsingborg. KFUM Uppsala at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Solna Branten. KFUM Blackeberg will play against Taby Basket (#11) on the road in the next round. KFUM Uppsala will play against KFUM Fryshuset (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
